This information has been collated from memos released surrounding the updates to the SY 2023-2024 Department of Defense Child Development Program Fee Policy. While this information is not classified, it is challenging to locate due to a lack of transparency.

 

As Operation Child Care Project™ becomes more aware of updates to these Fee Schedules, they will be provided here. Please see if your current duty station is considered High Cost or Standard to ensure you are selecting the correct fee schedule.

1. Determine if you are stationed at a High-Cost duty station or Standard. If your installation is listed below, then you are at a High-Cost installation, if not, then you are at a Standard installation.

CDC Fee Schedule

2. Open the applicable CDC Fee Schedule and determine, based on your Total Family Income (TFI), how much you would pay monthly at the CDC. Please use the two-week vacation option for this calculation.

3. Use our built-in calculator under the CDC Fee Schedules and enter your weekly childcare cost in the first box, and the estimated amount you would pay monthly at the CDC in the second box labeled Monthly CDC Rate.

4. This tool is for estimating purposes only. There are other factors that could affect your TFI calculation or civilian childcare costs. The amounts listed under the Estimated Monthly Family Responsibility is the amount you would pay based on the information you offered and current rate caps.
